Attractions in the Area
At Veterans On The Lake Resort, we have incorporated fun right next to your cabin as well as providing a great launching area into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). There are so many Ely, Minnesota attractions to choose from. You're right on Fall Lake for great fishing, swimming, boating, and canoeing. There are several convenient boat docks, a boat launch, and your cabin comes with a 16-foot boat. In the winter you can rent a spear or heated fishing house. The lodge has a Finnish sauna, Wi-Fi, bait shop, and more for classic relaxing. The grounds have a beach, heated pool, tennis court, and more. BWCAW
Hiking, hunting, fishing, canoeing, cross-country skiing, berry
picking, or just observing nature; you can do it all in the BWCAW! If you're planning on canoeing through the BWCAW, you'll need a permit.
